Handcrafted Luxury Soap Bars

It's all about being in love with yourself.

Turn your bath time into an   enchanting experience with ReasonS all natural soaps made using organic oils, pure essential oils, floral waters     distilled from fresh plants, flowers and spices.

Too Many ReasonS for Soaping

All ReasonS soaps are made with pure cold pressed Coconut Oil sourced from the interiors of Tamil Nadu using the cold process method and are cured atleast for six weeks before packaging. All the essential oils used are sourced from different regions of India straight from the master distillers. Instead of using plain water, we distill our own floral waters from fresh plants, flowers and spices (like rose, mint, cinnamon etc). We also like to experiment with additives like flower petals or orange peel powder, or walnut scrub etc (sourced from our own garden, granny's garden and even our neighbors and friend's gardens) to enhance the properties of the each soap bar. We do not like to bulk produce, which makes every soap recipe and design unique and limited edition, so if you liked one recipe and would want to have it again, we will fulfil your wish by making the particular recipe specially for you.

About Us

RANGOLI and SUMIT

WE MAKE SOAPS

It all started with our own ReasonS to adapt a healthy lifestyle. I, Rangoli, am an Artist, industrial Designer and a film maker and Sumit is a singer songwriter, producer, composer and a guitarist. We both had started our own Record Label named 'THE RECORD FACTORY' in 2013 and tried our best to live natural in our extremely busy schedules. We had changed everything! From our diets, to practising Yoga and to our body lotions (using natural butters) and me (Rangoli) going makeup sans. One thing that still made us 'irrk' was the store bought soap bar on the bathroom shelves. It's not like the market had no organic soaps to offer, but the brands selling true organic ones were literally unaffordable. For few years we did use those pocket burning pretty looking organic soap bars (and felt very happy too) and then we discovered the soap making art. THAT WAS IT! Initially we made soaps for ourselves and gave some to our friends and family. Soon enough, all those who had used the soaps, couldn't use any other store bought soap and thus we began making more soap to last us longer. We created gifts to give on Diwali (Indian Festival) to our extended families and friends, and with in weeks of that we started getting requests to make more. Almost all holidays (all Sundays and every holiday we get in India, let me tell you there are many!) were being spent making soap. In February 2019, we decided to take it up more seriously and convert our hobby into a business. We learnt different recipes and then made our own few perfecting every batch little better than the previous one. So from this October (2019), we put up our soaps for sale. No fancy website or store or packaging for we wanted to keep the prices of the each soap as close to actual ingredients' cost as possible. Try our soaps and we will be happy to make more for you too!
